The 33-year-old defenseman sustained a leg injury in Saturday's game against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers but might be ready to return to the lineup on Sunday. His return would definitely help out his coach since HCC (due to the long list of injured players) only has five defenders at their disposal.
They will also have to make do without Daniel Eigenmann (arm injury) for at least three weeks. Furthermore, HCC will not be able to count on the SCL Tigers' Eric Himelfarb since he is suffering from angina. HC Université Neuchâtel's Adam Rundqvist will thus likely suit up for HCC on Sunday.
