Toni Rajala, 26, suffered a minor leg injury in last Friday's game against EV Zug. The Finnish forward is currently EHC Biel's leading scorer, putting up five goals and four assists in eleven games. The duration of his absence remains uncertain.
As for Marco Pedretti and Nicholas Steiner, both will be sidelined tonight due to injuries from last Saturday's game against EHC Kloten. Pedretti, 26, took a hit to the head from Vincent Praplan (proceedings might be initiated) while Steiner is dealing with an upper body injury.
On the other hand, Marco Maurer, who was out for three weeks with a muscle injury, is expected to return to the lineup as of this week. However, as the Bieler Tagblatt just reported, tonight's game against the dragons might be too early for a comeback.
