In order to be physically ready and to prevent any muscular problems, the 28-year-old Frenchman, who had to undergo surgery this summer due to a urinary problem, still needs one or two more weeks before returning to game action.

On a different note, still according to the TdG, some injured players including Christophe Bays, Cody Almond, Nathan Gerbe, Nick Spaling and Kevin Romy took part in yesterday's on-ice practice, but are not yet ready to hit the ice again.

As for Floran Douay and Yoan Massimino, the two forwards are undergoing therapy in the southern part of France to treat their knee injuries. Finally, Youngster Guillaume Maillard is likely to make his comeback in tonight's game in Bern.
