Kummer needed stitches after a hit of Lars Neher in the 50th minute of play and did not return to the game. Tschannen, on the other hand, had to leave the game in the 54th minute of play due to his hand getting hit by a puck. The severity of their injuries is not yet known and will require further medical examinations.
