SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers lose topscorer Dion Knelsen to injury

The 28-year-old forward was checked into the boards by Visp's Sandro Wiedmer in the 49th minute of play and was forced to quit the game afterwards. The exact nature and severity of Knelsen's injury, however, is unknown so far.

This season thus far, the Canadian has appeared in a total of 18 games for the Lakers, scoring 15 goals and ten assists.

Knelsen musste übrigens das Eis verlassen. Es geht also nicht mehr weiter für unseren Topskorer. Die Visper Fans verabschiedeten ihn mit lauten Pfiffen aus dem Stadion. Auch nicht gerade die feinste Art.
