The defenseman underwent elbow surgery at the beginning of November and was expected to be out of the lineup for four to six weeks. He seems to have recovered faster than anticipated.
However, he will only play tonight if the medical staff gives him the go-ahead. As for Nolan Diem (foot injury), it is not yet clear whether he will be able to play or not.
