The 26-year-old defenseman was hit by a puck in the last championship game and has sustained a more severe injury than anticipated. Tim Bucher, on the other hand, might be able to return to the lineup sometime next week.
As for Ryan Vesce, he is still dealing with concussion symptoms and is now being treated at the Swiss Concussion Center in Zürich. His headaches are related to a processing distortion in his organ of equilibrium.
