While Evgeni Chiriaev is ready for tonight's game against EHC Visp, Stanislav Horanský has to sit out. Horanský was injured in Wednesday's road game against HC Ajoie. It is already his second injury-related absence since he joined EHC Olten at the beginning of this season.
Bad news also for the two 20-year-old youngsters Helder Duarte and Noah Matter. Both will have to undergo hip surgery. As a consequence, Duarte's season is already over. If Matter will be able to return to game action at some point in this season remains to be seen.
Whereas American forward Ryan Vesce (concussion) is still out indefinitely, defenseman Marc Grieder might be ready for Sunday's game. Also forward Remo Hirt should return to their lineup sometime in December.
