While El Assaoui and Wollgast are ill, Kindschi is part of HC Davos' squad for the Spengler Cup. With three defenders out of the lineup, HC Thurgau thus decided to call upon Dufner to help them out tonight against EHC Winterthur.
The 22-year-old defenseman has played 28 games for EHC Biel this season thus far, recording one goal and three assists.
