The 33-year-old forward left the game in the third period after a hit by an opposing player. Medical examinations revealed that Truttmann suffered a severe shoulder injury. It is not yet clear if he will require surgery, but he is definitely not able to return to the lineup for the rest of the season. Truttmann had already been out with an upper-body injury until the end of March.
