It is not even September yet, but Winterthur already has to deal with some injury troubles. After it became known that netminder Fabio Haller sustained an injury in summer practice, Der Landbote writes that Blatter was playing with a knee injury for long stretches of the past season. The 25-year-old did not participate in summer practice and it is not yet known when he will be ready to play again.
Blatter suited up 44 times for Winterthur in his first year for the Swiss League-team, scoring two goals and assisting on four more.
