After he missed almost the entire past season due to a concussion, defenseman Severin Blindenbacher has returned to the ice. His coach is pleased with the 35-year-old's current state: "It's going very well, he's able to take part in everything," he says to the Tages-Anzeiger.

Aubin is also aware of the fact that forward Robert Nilsson will need some more time to fully recover from his concussion. "Everything that has to do with concussions is very delicate," he says to the same source. "Robert is in good hands with our medical staff, my job starts when he receives the green light."

The Lions start their pre-season campaign on Friday, when they face their partner team from the Swiss League, the GCK Lions, at the Kunsteisbahn Oerlikon/ZH.
