Zwerger sustained a right ankle sprain and will miss about four weeks. The 22-year-old left winger, who received "Youngster of the Year" honors at this year's Swiss Ice Hockey Awards, had to be helped off the ice in the 39th minute of play of the game against Podolsk.

Zwerger joined the Biancoblù from North America's Everett Silvertips (WHL) in summer 2017 and has appeared in a total of 60 games for them ever since, recording 21 goals and 28 assists.
