EHC Biel's Samuel Kreis will miss Friday's season opener

According to a report from the Journal du Jura, the 24-year-old defenseman is currently banged up and is thus not exptected to hit the ice at least in Friday's home game against Genève-Servette HC.

As for Robbie Earl, even though he was absent from today's on-ice practice (lower body pain), the American will be good to go for the season opener: "He will play against Geneva," Biel's assistant coach Thomas Zamboni confirms.
