Sami Sandell signed a one-year deal with HC Davos in August, but as watson's Klaus Zaugg reports, his season is already over. The 31-year-old suffered a knee injury at the Latvijas Dzelzcela Cup in the same month. "We have to assume he likely will not play anymore this season", Zaugg quotes Davos' president Gaudenz Domenig.

Perttu Lindgren has already played six games for Davos this season, but after being sidelined for almost a year, the forward needs to get back in shape to have the same performance as he did before his injury-caused absence. To get a chance to do so, head coach Arno Del Curto has decided that the 31-year-old will undergo a four to eight weeks long conditioning training, as Blick reports.
