EHC Biel

Due to Salmela's absence, EHC Biel had to make do with only three import-players in Sunday's 3-4 loss in the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup against EHC Kloten. According to the Journal du Jura, the 34-year-old is also doubtful for Tuesday's game against the ZSC Lions at the Hallenstadion.

So far, Salmela has dressed in all of the twelve National League games for EHCB this season and put up a total of twelve points (two goals).
