In the 54th minute of play, MacMurchy crashed into HCC's netminder Tim Wolf and the goal post after a push of La Chaux-de-Fonds' defender David Stämpfli, the Tages-Anzeiger reports. The 35-year-old seems to have suffered an injury to his left leg during the scene as he left the ice limping shortly after.
Ryan MacMurchy is currently EHC Kloten's top scorer with 18 points (nine goals) in twelve games. He ranks 8th in points in the Swiss League overall.
