Boltshauser sustained an injury during warm-ups for the game on Saturday, December 1. The goaltender was scheduled to start. He will undergo an MRI today to determine the nature and severeness of the knee-injury, as Jérôme Reynard (Sport-Center) writes on Twitter.
But, according to the same source, it is unlikely that he will not have to undergo surgery. In other news, Yannick Herren (knee) should be able to return to on-ice practice in a couple of days. He might be able to make his comeback after the international break.
