According to the doctors, the Swede will be out for six to eight weeks. "But it could be a week more or less," Klingberg tells Blick. "But that doesn't matter to me. I'm just happy that I will be able to return at all."

The forward had to be taken to the hospital after he suffered a cervical vertebrae injury in Friday's game against the SCL Tigers. The Swede crashed into the boards head first, but was luckily able to move all his extremities.

With 16 points (seven goals) in 22 games, Carl Klingberg is currently EV Zug's second best scorer, three points behind Lino Martschini.
