According to Der Landbote, Wieser lost consciousness at some point and had to be brought to the hospital in Bellinzona. The Swiss League team informed that Wieser underwent further medical examinations there.
The nature of his injury is not yet known, though. Tim Wieser has appeared in 22 games for the Lions this season, recording two goals and ten assists.
