Medical Report

Out since mid-November, the 29-year-old left winger is expected to make his comeback for EHC Biel in the course of next week.

Fabian Lüthi on the ice against Langnau and/or Ambrì next week?

Lüthi, who is recovering from a foot injury, took part in today's optional skate and might be at the disposal of EHC Biel's coach Antti Törmänen in the course of the upcoming week against Langnau and/or Ambrì-Piotta, the Journal du Jura reports.

The forward joined the Seelanders in 2015 after two seasons in Ambrì. Ever since, Lüthi has appeared in 179 games in yellow and red, recording 45 points (18 goals). His contract with EHCB was just extended until 2021 in November this year.

Still out and/or not available are Jason Fuchs (laryngeal fracture), Elien Paupe (undisclosed) as well as Janis Moser and Ramon Tanner, who are still on duty with the Swiss U-20 national team at the 2019 World Junior Championship in Vancouver, Canada.

As for Beat Forster, who made his season debut for the Seelanders Wednesday's clash with Lausanne (3-2 win) after recovering from a severe knee-injury, it is not excluded that the 35-year-old defender will play in only one of the upcoming two games against ZSC and Fribourg this weekend, the same source writes.
