After a hit by Marc Wieser, the Swede crashed into the boards and apparently suffered a concussion. He was taken to the hospital.

During the matchup between Genève-Servette HC and HC Davos this afternoon, Grenats-defenceman Eric Martinsson was hit by Davos-forward Marc Wieser. The Swede sustained an injuryon the play and was unable to finish the game, as Grégory Beaud (Sport-Center) writes.

"It is really not looking good. The head seems to have been affected, but not just that. We hope that the exams are going to be relieving", Genève's head coach Chris McSorley said to Le Matin after the game. Martinsson had to be taken to the hospital and will undergo the mentioned exams tonight.

Later on, Beaud reported that the Swede suffered a concussion and will stay in Davos until at least tomorrow.
