Medical Report

The 30-year-old defenseman had to leave Tuesday's game against the GCK Lions due to a ligament strain in the knee.

Another injured defenseman: Sandro Wiedmer.

Sandro Wiedmer crashed into the boards and went straight to the locker room, the Walliser Bote reports. The diagnosis: a strained ligament in his knee. If he will be available for the upcoming games is not yet known. EHC Visp's defense is already impaired, forward Andy Furrer had to help out in the past games.

As for goalie Reto Lory, he did not make the trip to Küsnacht. In yesterday's warm-up, he felt pain in his hip again. Good thing for Visp that backup Sascha Rochow was not hurting anymore, after he had to leave Friday's game against the EVZ Academy.
