Lausanne HC's Canadian import Torrey Mitchell

Mitchell was taken to the hospital for further examination. According to Jérôme Reynard (Sport-Center), he has, as suspected, suffered a severe concussion. It is not yet clear how long he will be out of the lineup. He will only be able to leave the hospital later today.
The NHL-experienced Canadian joined Lausanne HC on a one-year deal from the Los Angeles Kings in summer last year. Ever since, he has suited up in 28 National League games, recording seven goals and five assists.
