HC Lugano's forward injured his left shoulder last October. As he has still been experiencing pain in the past days, he had to undergo further examinations, which have shown that there is still a strong inflammation in his shoulder.
As a consequence, the 29-year-old will not be able to return to game action this season. His time in Lugano thus comes to an early end. Cunti will leave the club after this season and join EHC Biel.
