Abplanalp had to throw in the towel already early in the first period after a collision with LHC's Partanen. According to journalist Grégory Beaud, he was taken to the hospital with a yet to be determined upper body injury.
The 34-year-old has appeared in 42 games for the Dragons this season so far, in which he managed to put up seven assists.
