Medical Report

The defenseman of EHC Winterthur took a shot to his face in yesterday's game against EHC Kloten.

Broke his jaw and nose: Atanasio Molina.

The 23-year-old had to be helped off the ice after only five minutes of last night's game, when he got hit by a shot from Kloten's Fabian Ganz. After the game, the doctors diagnosed a fracture of the upper jaw and of the nasal bone, the Landbote writes.

Atanasio Molina's future is currently still open. His contract with EHC Winterthur, for which he recorded five assists in 39 games this season, is running out in spring.
