After an absence of almost one month, the American seems ready to return to Genève-Servette HC's lineup for Game 3 against Bern.

Tommy Wingles

"He should be back unless there are last minute contraindications," GSHC's coach Chris McSorley tells the Tribune de Genève. Wingels is set to take over the spot of Arnaud Jacquemet, who will move back to the defense. Swedish import Eric Martinsson, on the other hand, is expected to be supernumerary.

Wingels has been dealing with an undisclosed lower-body injury. He moved to Geneva from the Chicago Blackhawks organization in summer last year. Ever since, he has managed to record eleven goals and seven assist in 19 games for the Grenats.

The quarterfinal series between regular season winner SC Bern and Genève-Servette HC is currently tied at 1-1. GSHC won Game 1 with 2-0, SCB decided Game 2 in their favor (3-2 OT victory).
