As the Tages Anzeiger reports, the Czech forward is not able to play, thus the ZSC Lions called up the American winger. Hayes, who is in his second season with the GCK, already played one Champions Hockey League game for the ZSC Lions. Hayes collected 45 points in 43 Swiss League games this season.
Tonight's game against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will also see the debut of Daniel Guntern, who will serve as the backup goalkeeper of the ZSC Lions for the next season. This season, Guntern, 23, posted a save percentage of 90.4 in 29 Swiss League games.
