SC Bern not only lost Game 3 (3-2 in OT2) but also their players Muršak, Blum and Kamerzin, who were all unable to finish the game.

SC Bern's Slovenian forward Jan Muršak had to throw in the towel in the first period after a clash with GSHC's Antonietti and Wingels along the boards, whereas defender Eric Blum took a shot to his face in the 28th minute of play and did not return for the remainder of the game. Jérémie Kamerzin, for his part, left the game in the 51st minute of play with a suspected knee/foot injury.
