Dennis Everberg had to be helped off the ice after a hit into the boards from Taylor Chorney. The nature of his injury is not yet clear, however, Zentralplus speculates it could be an arm or a shoulder injury. The Swede played 30:22 minutes, recorded one goal and put eight shots on goal in Saturday's game.

With their win in the 95:33-minute long game, EV Zug sweeps HC Lugano out of the first round of the playoffs. They are the first team to advance to the semifinals.
