Not a lot of regular players in the current lineup

Defenceman Geering is day-to-day due to a suspected concussion, while Swede Pettersson has put an end to his season with a lumbar spine injury.
In addition, forwards Reto Schäppi and Fabrice Herzog are both also day-to-day, dealing with muscular problems. Chris Baltisberger, on the other hand, will not suit up anymore this spring due to an injured finger.
The full list of absences can be found on the ZSC Lions' homepage. For the remaining few games, the team is trying to insert more players from the GCK Lions into their lineup, as they have already been doing during the ranking round.
