In the 48th minute uf play, SCB's Adam Almquist knocked Reto Suri down with a check to the head. Suri was bleeding, left the ice and did not return for the rest of the game.

As EVZ's coach Dan Tangnes told Zentralplus, Suri had a few teeth smashed in the incident. Apart from that, the 30-year-old is not supposed to have suffered a serious injury, the same source reports. There is, however, no word from EVZ on the matter so far.

Almquists hit to Suri's head.

If Suri will be able to return to EV Zug's lineup for Game 2, which will take place at the Bossard Arena in Zug on Saturday, remains to be seen.
