Lugano's Giovanni Morini injured in game against Switzerland

According to information picked up by RSI, the 24-year-old Italian international had to be taken to the hospital for further examination.

Morini was forced to throw in the towel following a contact with Switzerland's Yannick Weber in the 14th minute of play. The nature and severity of his injury, however, is still unknown at this point in time. Italy had to accept a 9-0 loss in their World Championship opener against Switzerland today.
