Medical Report

After missing the whole 2018-19 season, a return is not yet on the horizon for the 34-year-old Swede.

Will Robert Nilsson ever be back again?

When the ZSC Lions take up their on-ice practice on Wednesday, one player will definitely not be part of it: Robert Nilsson. According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the forward still has not recovered from his concussion. Several people in the club seem to think that Nilsson will not return to the ice ever again.

ZSC's team manager Sven Leuenberger, however, does not want to confirm or deny this. He only says: "Nilsson is in Zürich, but it doesn't make any sense for him to undergo any tests at the moment." The 34-year-old's contract with head coach Rikard Grönborg's team is still valid until the end of the season.
