Although he did not play in Wednesday night's Swiss Ice Hockey Cup game on the road against HC Sierre (1-0 win), Genazzi took part in the team's pre-game warmup in the morning, 24 heures reports.
Last season, the defenseman suited up in 62 games for Lausanne HC, in which he managed to put up seven goals and 23 assists for 30 points.
