Medical Report

The forward has been out with a concussion for about two months now, but might be able to return to game action soon.

Hopes to be back soon: Luca Hischier.

According to the Walliser Bote, the 24-year-old Valaisan hopes to receive the doctor's green light in one or two weeks. Hischier has already taken part in a couple of on-ice practices with HC Davos.

As soon as Hischier is good to go again, HCD's coach Christian Wohlwend plans on sending him to the Swiss League first: "Hischier has been sidelined for a long time now, of course he lacks the intensity of the game," Wohlwend explains. "When he returns, he will start with our partner team Ticino Rockets."

Luca Hischier has been out since August 20, when he suffered a concussion in HC Davos' pre-season game against Barys Astana from the KHL.
