Magnus Nygren is getting closer to a return.

Magnus Nygren sustained a knee injury at the end of August during a friendly game. As expected, after about twelve weeks, the defenseman is now almost ready for a comeback. HC Davos' team manager, Raeto Raffainer, expects Nygren to be ready before the Spengler Cup, but first they have to see how his body copes with the workload.
Nygren is in his third season with HC Davos. In 99 National League games, the 29-year-old scored 21 goals and collected 38 assists.
