The incident occurred yesterday during the second period of the game between EV Zug and EHC Biel. After being hit by the puck, Livio Stadler had to leave the game and go to the hospital. The analysis showed a fracture in the skull that requires a recovery time of four to six weeks.

Stadler has appeared in 21 National League games this season, collecting five assists. On average, the 21-year-old is 13:33 minutes on the ice.
