Medical Report

In Thursday's game against the ZSC Lions, HC Fribourg-Gottéron will have to make do without their starting goalie Reto Berra.

Reto Berra has fallen ill.

As La Liberté and journalist Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) report, the 33-year-old goaltender has fallen ill and will not be able to suit up against ZSC. As a consequence, backup Ludovic Waeber is going to face his future club at the Hallenstadion.

Good news comes from Samuel Walser, on the other hand. The forward has recovered from his upper-body injury and is going to return to HCFG's lineup.

Whereas also Julien Sprunger will be back after his two-game suspension, David Desharnais, Andrei Bykov, and Philippe Furrer are still sidelined.
