As communicated by HC Lugano, Jani Lajunen sustained the hip injury at the end of last season. In agreement with the medical staff, it was decided at first to opt for a conservative approach. However, at the resumption of individual training, the 29-year-old suffered a relapse that requires surgery. The expected recovery time is estimated at 4-6 months.
