During Saturday's game between EHC Visp and EHC Winterthur, the home team's topscorer Mark Van Guilder was hit in the face by a puck. He had to leave the game prematurely.

As his club informs today, the forward suffered a broken jaw and will have to undergo surgery. This means Van Guilder is sidelined until further notice.

In Visp's six games so far this season, the 36 year-old recorded three goals and four assists. He currently leads the team in scoring.
