Medical Report

The two defensemen are in the "Return to Play" procedure after their Covid-19 illness. Head coach Lars Leuenberger is dealing with kidney stones.

Beat Forster is not far from returning to game action.

Whereas Sartori and Forster have to take it a little bit slower, goaltender Joren van Pottelberghe is feeling better, although he will probably not play tonight against HC Davos, his former team. The Bieler Tagblatt also reports that David Ullström (concussion) has resumed practicing with the team. However, there is still no timeline for his definitive comeback.

In order to cope with the absentees, for tonight's game, EHC Biel has recalled from HC La Chaux-de-Fonds defenseman Yannick Stampfli and forward Tino Kessler. In exchange, as Arcinfo reports, the Seeländers have loaned forward Jeremy Zürcher to HCC on a B-licence.

On another note, Lars Leuenberger will not be behind the bench tonight. The head coach is sidelined due to kidney stones, as the Blick writes. Assistant Anders Olsson and video coach Thomas Zamboni will take over his duties.
