Whereas Severin Blindenbacher is still suffering from a concussion, the younger brother of Pius Suter sustained a serious shoulder-injury in the game against EHC Kloten on January 23. Both will not be able suit up for them anymore this season.
Severin Blindenbacher thus might not return to the ice at all, as his contract with the Lions is running out at the end of the season. In his career, he has played 14 seasons in Zurich, interrupted by a short stint in Sweden with Färjestad and the AHL's Texas Stars.
