Whether Justin Abdelkader will be able to make his debut on Swiss ice with EV Zug already on Saturday in Davos, however, remains to be seen. "He is healthy and fit, but of course has some lack of competition rhythm," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy explains.

In addition to Grégory Hofmann (upper-body injury), EV Zug will still have to make do without Dario Wüthrich, Calvin Thürkauf, and Jesse Zraggen for Saturday's road clash with HCD.
