As HC Fribourg-Gottéron writes, Matthias Rossi could be treated in time and his rehabilitation is going well. Nevertheless, it is impossible for the forward to wear HCFG's jersey again this season. Before suffering the thrombosis, Rossi had recovered from a leg injury.

Over the course of the season, Matthias Rossi only appeared in 33 games for the Dragons, in which he scored seven goals and added seven assists.
