Sven Andrighetto had to leave the ice injured.
With only a couple of minutes left in the game, Lausanne HC's captain Mark Barberio sent ZSC's top scorer Sven Andrighetto into the boards with a check from behind. Andrighetto did not get up right away and when he finally did, he went to the locker room straight away.
As always in the playoffs, there is no further information about the nature and the severity of Sven Andrighetto's injury. The ZSC Lions, however, wrote after the game that the forward is "doing well under the circumstances" and that they "hope for the best".
