According to Arcinfo, Lucas Matewa broke his left shoulder and will undergo surgery next week. He is expected to be out of the lineup for at least three months. Frédéric Iglesias will be absent even longer: he will miss about three months due to a tibia fracture.
Axel Andersson, for his part, was injured in the game against EHC Olten. He will not be able to hit the ice with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds for at least one month.
Team manager Loïc Burhalter will, however, not take any hasty decision about potentially compensating for those absences: "The season starts in three weeks and we will see what happens in the next couple of days."
