Medical Report

The 27-year-old forward left the ice in the middle of yesterday's game with a leg injury and did not return to EV Zug's lineup.

As anticipated earlier today by Zentralplus, Dario Simion had to undergo surgery following a deep cut on the lower leg caused by the blade of a skate. The club now informs that Simion will have to stay out of the lineup for about eight weeks in order to recover from the surgery.

While the forward will thus not be available for the Bulls' game against HC Ambrì-Piotta, they might be able to count on Jan Kovář again. The Czech, who is currently in the Covid-19 return-to-play protocol, is symptom-free and might thus be available for Friday's game.
