Maxime Fortier took a puck to his face in their last game on December 23 and, according to Radio RFJ, broke his nose and had to undergo further medical exams on his cheekbone. As the club now announces, the Canadian forward already underwent surgery.

This season so far, Maxime Fortier appeared in 22 games for HC Ajoie, in which he recorded twelve points (ten goals).
